Most Frequently Asked Questions
Each delivery truck is routed the morning of with new orders coming in throughout the day, so it is difficult for us to estimate a delivery window. Most drivers will do their best to let you know when they are on the way. If you selected credit card payment, you do not need to be home for the delivery.
Just follow these easy steps (please also be sure to review our full cancelation policy in the Help Center).
- Sign into your account and click the “Cancel” button under the Orders section of your account dashboard.
- Your refund will be processed to the credit card that was charged. Please allow 5-7 days for it to show in your bank account.
Note: If you cancel 2 or more days before your scheduled delivery date, there is no cancellation fee and your full refund will be processed automatically. For example, if your delivery is scheduled for Wednesday and you cancel before 12pm EST on Monday, you will not incur a fee. If you cancel after that time frame, there will be a fee deducted from your refund.
Before you reschedule, is there anything we can do to help? Keep in mind that you don’t need to be home during delivery if you are paying via credit or debit card.
If you would still like to reschedule, you can log into your account and make the change there. Rescheduling less than two days out from your original delivery date will result in a fee. Please be sure to check out our full rescheduling policy in the Help Center.
Don’t worry, you will only pay for the heating oil that is actually pumped into your tank. If your tank couldn’t take the full amount you ordered, you will be automatically refunded for the difference as soon as your delivery driver lets us know what your tank received. Refund may take 3-5 business days to post to your account.
